Melotron in Romania>About
It could be easily said that synthpop was reborn when three young guys met at a Depeche Mode fanclub reunion in a small town from Eastern Germany. Animated by the same passion for music, the three young men, whose voices were not yet grown-up voices, embarked on a mission to put on a representative act for this genre in Germany.
Music conceived as adrenaline and sudden shifts of cardio rhythm, lyrics almost exclusively in German (language about which members of the act concur that it is the only language that can render rhythm and temperance), as well as the concept of evolution that does not forget its roots are some of the ingredients of the best musical export of Germany after 2000.
Every MELOTRON tune is an electro anthem and you are easily persuaded that synthpop is indeed the genre in which boundaries exist only to be trespassed with every single sound.
MELOTRON released to date six albums, have a top 10 collaboration with IN STRICT CONFIDENCE (whom you can see in our FIRST ROMANIAN DARKFEST on February, 14, 2009) and 5 years headlining for Wave Gothic Treffen.
